...let your faithful ones shout merrily for joy. (Psalm 132:9)

Being snowed in yesterday, I took the opportunity to scroll through Facebook for quite some time and I honestly don’t think I saw more than a couple of posts that had anyone “shouting merrily for joy.”  I read comments about politicians on both sides of the aisle that were nasty.  I read comments from people insulting others for their comments about politicians.  I saw people trying to make money off of their friends by selling stuff.  I saw arguments about vaccines.  I saw arguments about guns.  I saw people complaining about illnesses, their neighbors, the Oscars, memes making fun of the Super Bowl halftime show and pretty much everything else.  My dear friends, it’s time we change the narrative!  It’s time we give thanks and praise to our LORD who is the source of all that is good in this world!  Shout merrily about the love of God and all that comes from Heaven!  Shout merrily about the mercy you’ve been given, the healings you’ve received, the experiences you have with family and friends, the opportunities to get up and serve others at work, the food in your pantry, the roof over your head, and all that is good! No more whining, attacking, mocking, ridiculing, persecuting, hating, but let us shout for joy today, my sisters and brothers in Christ!  Amen!
