It is my wish, then, that in every place the men should pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or argument. (From 1 Timothy 2:1-8)
Written in the first 1st century, but still seemingly written for today! Let us pray everywhere! Let us live without anger and without argument! I don’t need to recount all the anger and arguments that are going on these days, but can we listen to St. Paul and just knock it off please?!?! Stop the rants, the aggressive posts, the propaganda, the mockery, the ridicule, the disdain for leaders on both sides of the aisle…and let us just lift our hands and one another up in prayer! My sisters and brothers in Christ, let us love one another and put away the anger and arguments for today in order to have the peace and joy that God wants for us all! Amen!
