Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove that splinter in your eye,’ when you do not even notice the wooden beam in your own eye? (From Luke 6:39-42)
Why are we so quick to judge, to condemn, to point out the faults of others, to criticize, and to put others down? How about we take a look at our own lives today and work on becoming a better spouse, parent, child, student, athlete, Christian, colleague, teammate, and friend instead of worrying about everyone else… Amen!
